A joint project between the local Lions Club and the Hastings District Council, Windsor Park’s playground and barbecue area recently underwent a major upgrade.
Their vision included an all-ages revival of Fantasyland – the former name of the area’s neighbouring amusement park, Splash Planet, before it rebranded.
Fun Solution
With a unique boat structure and toddler train (with tunnels to climb through), the park successfully references the heyday of Hastings’ Fantasyland – with some contemporary twists.
A huge net structure and climbing wall offer exhilarating challenges for teenagers, with plenty of monkey-bar action, ladders and imagination for younger children.
Packed with colour and hands-on fun, this inviting and exciting playground is already proving to be a hit with locals and visitors alike.
